As you may or may not already be aware, last summer, some important building work had to take place at our transmitter site which meant we had to temporarily have the transmitter re-sited.
When this happened we lost height on the transmitter which meant the coverage of the station was weakened.

Today however, we are please to announce the transmitter has returned home and ICR on 105.7FM in Ipswich is now available more widely and in a stronger signal across the town including availability stretching as far as Kesgrave and North Essex.

Thank you for supporting ICR and we hope this opens a whole new beginning to the UK’s longest-serving community radio station and opens more doors and opportunities in the Ipswich area.
